SLAM EXCO members were honoured to meet up with Minister of Youth and Sports Hannah Yeoh for a dialogue to discuss collaboration between both parties.
SLAM pledged its commitment to work closely with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in elevating standards of sports law and governance, among others.
The inclusion of Alternative Dispute Resolution and Mediation clauses in sports associations was emphasised.The lack of awareness in ADR was also noted, due to the limited knowledge among athletes and administrators.
Several proposals and suggestions were discussed with the Minister and her team for the betterment of sports in Malaysia.
