The Sports Law Association of Malaysia (SLAM) is an association related to the development and promotion of Sports Law, mediation and arbitration in Malaysia and in the region of South East Asia.

SLAM was established as a professional body to inspire leadership, reform and interest in the issues of law in sports, creating a knowledge sharing platform for communication amongst sports lawyers and other players, in order to achieve best practices among practitioners and share experience with newcomers.

SLAM is a unifying platform for the interaction between sports and the law, extending beyond dispute resolution. SLAM is aimed at providing education opportunities in Sports Law, fostering a forum for the discussion of legal issues affecting Sports Law, promoting the adoption of professional and ethical rules, and encouraging the implementation of an efficient system of sports dispute resolution in Malaysia.

Our association's core strength lies in the diverse pool of individuals and is open to people from all walks of life from sports law practitioners, sports arbitrators, sports administrators, sports law academicians, lawyers, non-lawyers, athletes, students and anyone with a passion and interest in sports, to those in the sports trade or industry keen to keep updated about advancements in this arena.
