SLAM was invited to be part of the AALCO Annual Arbitration Forum 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, organized by the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC) in partnership with the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organization (AALCO) and the Legal Affairs Division, Prime Minister’s Department (BHEUU, JPM).
The event brought together legal and ADR experts from the Asian-African regions for a two-day discussion on pivotal topics shaping international arbitration and enhancing dispute resolution frameworks.
Dato’ Sri Azalina Othman Said, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform); His Excellency Dr Kamalinne Pinitpuvadol, Secretary-General of AALCO and M. Kulasegaran, Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform), were among the 250 distinguished guests who graced the Forum.
Minister Dato’ Sri Azalina Othman Said emphasized the significance of arbitration in fostering cross-border cooperation and Malaysia's leadership role in promoting Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
